This a lovely park for all occasions. Great views of the Hood Canal, a playground for the kids, decent bathrooms, and plenty of room for a picnic. Parking is plentiful both at the park and the boat launch - clearly many people put there boats in here. If you're headed further west across the Hood Canal, it may be advisable to take this scenic route and avoid some traffic. Olympic Otter

This is a lovely park that we discovered through geocaching. The amenities are plentiful and all in great condition. The group shelter is a great amenity along with the playground. It looks as though the docks (not photographed) have been removed for the winter.

Clean and great for a pit stop on our camping journey. A small restroom and some portapotties, a little playground, green grass, and rocky beach access made for a great stop for the teens and dogs.

This park is pretty nice for a leg stretch, view, potty break (clean and plenty of paper), or place to let the kiddos play on the pirate ship playground equipment or roam the beach. However if you're planning to launch here you might think about your options. There's three ramps (two with a dock between them) and a ton of boaters will be scrambling to quickly launch all at the same time (Of course slightly less than 1/2 will have any idea how to do so!) against what sometimes is a pretty good current. Once you pull away the parking lot will be tight and full. Do not be surprised to find your trailers fenders bent or lights broken by one of those same afore mentioned folks who have no idea how to handle...

Very small park located very close to the Hood Canal Bridge, WA. A "jungle gym" type boat needed some serious preservation work but the swings were in good condition. Ample parking. Restrooms were closed for the season but a port-a-potty was available. The grounds were well maintained. especially the beach area; no trash, garbage or large piles of rotting seaweed. Beautiful and peaceful view of the Hood Canal. Water was Crystal clear.. I believe I saw some type of pier also ? Ample shade trees and a good place for a picnic. We visited late in the afternoon and it was not at all crowded. I would definitely revisit if...

This is a lovely little grass park with a boat launch. It has a great view of Hood Canal and the Hood Canal bridge.

The park: This is the type of park that you bring your grandparents to so that they can sit at a picnic table and watch the grandkids play in the playground. Grass, picnic tables, etc...

The beach: It's okay. Not a destination beach by any means. There are much better beaches nearby.

The boat launch: Lots of parking for cars and trailers. Two ramps. HUGE, and I mean MASSIVE side currents can run through there though, so you better know what you're doing before launching or...
