This winery is nice and has the potential to be great. My friends and I went yesterday in 40-50 degree weather and really wanted to sit outside in one of the igloos, but it was too cold and the space heaters weren't on, so we moved to the only two tables inside. The inside is rather small, just a bar area and two small tables. We each had flights of wine and shared the charcuterie board and dip sampler. Both were good. They don't make their own wine, but they have a good variety. I didn't love any enough to buy a bottle, but they were all affordable. If this winery had more indoor seating, offered more food options, allowed outside food (food trucks/pizza delivery), and had live music it would be great. It also needs some type of lighting in the parking lot, we left around 8pm and couldn't see the ground walking to our car.

Hidden away from the main drag, this Winery is a small building in the midst of a very large parcel of land, offering a broad selection of wines both locally, domestically and internationally. Sit at the long bar, and get to know all about the selections they offer. I bought a smooth-tasting Pinot Grigio and a rich-tasting Pinot Noir. Outside is a spacious covered patio with comfortable grouped settings ideal for having a group of friends with you. We enjoyed prosciutto and lavender and thyme feta cheese. Yumm!! They bring in music and offer trivia nights as well. We will return!

Southern Fox Winery is so nice and has such a relaxing atmosphere. It truly makes you feel like you’ve escaped to a winery in the mountains. Beautiful land and I love the open design that allows the bar to be connected to outside on nicer days. They have a thoughtful selection of more than 15 wines! I like that flights are an option too.. as it’s difficult for me to make a decision especially when they all sound good!

Made a reservation and arrived 5 minutes early. It was cold outside but were told we had to wait outside in the igloos. None of us were dressed for the below normal temps. The igloos had no heat and the outside heaters were pretty much useless. We were told over and over again it would just be a few minutes. After 45 minutes I had had enough and complained. Soon we were told we could come in but they only had 4 seats for 6 of us. So much for having a "reservation". I was expected to be comped on the bill or some kind of gesture but nothing. The 2 stars were for the food and wine but nothing can make up for our freezing inconvenience.

I will not be going back and advising others to...
