Southside Farms — Attraction in Washington

This farm is a huge asset to our community. I grow a lot of food and they allow me to eat in season and supplement my stores for preserving by buying in bulk. I no longer worry about crop failure, as I have a backup plan. My favorite are their heirloom tomatoes Cherokee purple and Big Dena for tomato 🍅 sandwiches months before my own tomatoes produce fruit. Their berries are delectable. Love this place, there is always something new and they have strawberry picking during the season which everyone loves! The staff is wonderful, helpful and very warm. I would personal suggest the canned apple butter, but to each their own. Regardless you won't find their can delights or produce in any store. Don't miss out on the wonderful adventures that await. On your way out I would suggest that you try one of their homemade frozen treats...

Lovely farm produce stand. The produce is beautiful - the strawberries were perfect, and they have huge greenhouses with tomatoes, including heirloom ones.
