Pepper Ann loves coming here!
This park very clean and well maintained by the staff. Even the bathrooms are decent!
It is leashed dog friendly and a great place to walk your dog in the summer because much of it is shaded. There are large, open spaces of green grass, perfect for playing fetch with a long lead.
There is a lot of parking available, between the three parking lots.
The Green Belt Walkway and an Audubon birding trail also runs through it. This is great during the spring when pelicans, geese, and other birds are migrating and breeding.
Other amenities include, charcoal grills, picnic tables, play areas, and gazebos.
We highly recommend...

Lots of huge trees for shade and also water fowl to watch. There is a bike rack for you to lock your bike up if you want to. There is also a permanent...

The trail is paved and is roughly 5 miles long, so it's a great place for a run. The path also has marks on the pavement that marks each quarter mile in each direction. This is nice when you want to keep track of...
