I look for parks with well paved walkways and playgrounds. There is both a walkway a playground and two fields as well as a few street side and parking lot spaces. I took away two stars for the lack of accessibility of the walkway and the trash that was littered throughout the playground (to which my toddler took great interest and cut out park time short) This park is right by the reservoir which is nice but is also right next to the main road. The pathway cuts off multiple times and the two on ramps to the playground do not connect. The walkway is 1/3 mile but is not a closed loop. To make a closed loop you must enter the main side walk and cut through the small parking lot. I like the concept but this park isn’t the most user friendly for folks who use sidewalks. The path is bumpy and full of dips and cracks.

Clean and safe playground with baseball fields. They even have a gazebo that is used for events.

We stopped here for a much needed leg stretch on a loooong road trip from Maine to Florida with our 3-year-old son, and we so wished we could have stayed all afternoon! The playscape itself is fun and different with lots of climbing "walls", fast slides, and unique features such as spinning, swinging pendulum thingies and even a giant (stationary) pogo stick. In addition to the playscape there are wide, open grassy soccer fields, a baseball field, a covered pagoda with picnic tables, and a splash pad. Thank you to the city and people of Waterbury, CT, for such a...

Grounds are not kept up for tball/baseball very well. People come for fun with their young families & others bring obnoxious dogs that bark constantly which causes people to cut their visits short. Animals should not be allowed on these...
