Hawk Mountain Trailhead — Attraction in Waterford

Hawk mountain is great! We had a lovely walk up to the cliffs-super easy, not too many bugs. Once at the cliff area we admired the stupendous view and had lots of fun scambling about the the many varied rock faces. The only thing I, personally, would have added to Hawk Mountain is glaciers. A nice, big rolling glacier with not too deep cravasses would totally have improved our experience. If they ever add a reasonably-sized glacier, I would definitely give Hawk Mountain a...

It is a good view for a 20 minute walk. The trail consists of an ATV trail. Also, there is a ton of logging going on here lately. It is 100% a South facing view.

When you get to the first view, don't stop here, continue following the foot path for just another minute and it will bring you to the open views.
