I had a family reunion there the weekend of August 4&5. Had family from all over came for the event. The park was very clean. The Prevail was great. I ike the way how big it was for my family. I the way the volleyball area was set up. There are only two issues I had with that is if that area. (1.) Need more parking space so that when other guests arrived they shouldn't have to park in front of other cars that's already parked ( Neve know when an emergency come up) (2). I think that area should be off limits to others when you have a big event when you have kids everywhere having fun. I know it's a public park, but when you have people that you don't know hanging around, acting strange while drinking, that's not good in my book. (3) I think that there should be a sign place in the area of the event so that other people know it's a private party. Waterloo Chamber of Congress I used to be a resident of Waterloo, Ia 30 years ago, when I was there for Mt family reunion, I was shocked on how the city had expanded. Keep up the good work on keeping the city safe and clean. Please give the city workers a shout-out for what they do every day. There is one more thing that needs address also. The restrooms needed to have...

Read moreTalk about a park that has been allowed to fall into disrepair. At one time you could visit Exchange Park & Robinson Crusoe knowing they met a certain standard of care. I mention both parks because they are merely a stone's throw from one another & pretty much go hand in hand. Sadly, their fate seems intertwined as well. Up until about the mid 1970's both parks were well cared for. Then, I am not sure what happened whether it was budget cuts, laziness or complacency but the parks in Waterloo took a dark & dismal turn. They have yet to recover. They reflect a lack of imagination & a bare minimum of effort. It's...
