This park has plenty of bowls for water and supplies the doggy bags! (So please be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pup.) Everyone was super friendly when I visited. There were a few older, snappy dogs but their owners separated them from the other dogs promptly when they began getting agitated. The only issue with that is the only other fenced area was the small dog section and these were big dogs. This made the one small dog owner nervous and he quickly exited that side. Read moreMy dog, Howl, and I love spending time at this park since it is close to where we reside. Compared to the Cedar Falls park it is very spacious and has a lot more shade. However, the space isn't necessarily very people friendly. The only bathroom is a porta potty, and the water source at the park isn't conveniently located. There are no restrictions regarding spaying/neutering your dogs, which can be problematic at times. You can get an annual pass for $15 at Waterloo City Hall. Otherwise, the entry fee is $2 per day.
