Manresa State Beach is a spacious and family-friendly destination offering expansive ocean views from its cliff-top parking area. The beach below provides ample room for relaxation and recreation, but access requires navigating a flight of stairs.

PROS: The beach is large and does not feel crowded. It is a family-friendly environment. Lifeguards are on duty for water safety. There is plenty of parking available. Restroom facilities are well-maintained.

CONS: The stairs from the parking lot to the beach are not well-maintained. The final step of the stairs is very large and difficult for some. The parking lot area...

Nice clean, peaceful beach. It was not over crowded and was not loud (with blaring music etc.) Lots of friendly families and kids having fun, trying surfing, playing in the sand, finding mole crabs etc. we had a fun day out with our family. Water was cold but kids still went in. Watch out for the waves and be mindful. They have a restroom in the parking area, parking was easy, it was $10 parking fee though and they have both a slope and stairs to go down. Can get windy so...

Best beach on the coast! Big, spacious, beautiful, and great for dogs! It's my first stop when I'm in the area. Nice beach. Not sure why but we were seeing lot of jelly and other fishes wash up to the shore. Itโ€™s a climb and a walk to the restrooms. Saturday around 4pm looked pretty crowded but the parking lot was not full.

Gorgeous beach with soft tan sand and tons of walkable space. Kids had a blast boogie boarding and the water, while colder, is totally tolerable after the initial shock. No shells but a great time!
