We came from Texas on a visit and were super excited to try this place out. While we were purchasing tickets they said my son was not 42” and he could not go, but they used a rope to measure the height on the wall and placed a piece of tape to mark it. then they moved the tape again with out even having the rope to measure. My son is 43”, we took him to six flag and never had a problem, we also measured him at home before we came, with an actual tape measure to make sure. The manager of the park said he did not care and refused to use a real tool for measuring and said their mark was where it is and that’s it. I was speaking to him calmly trying to explain how it had to be placed to high he started yelling at me in front of several people and would not let me speak. My husband waited aside while me and my daughter went. My sister n law and nephew went first, then my daughter, and I went. When we got to the bottom of the hill and tried to exit the manager angrily went to grab ahold of my nephew to stop him from helping us with our tubes and my sister n law told him you not to touch him. ( now with that being said we both know and understand that my nephew couldn’t go help us but he could of just asked him to stay back). We then left I do not support any place with employees that are going to have this kind of attitude towards families and small children, no one should be treated the way we where, as we where leavening I stopped back by the front to get a refund for my son and husband, who did not go down the hill, the lady at the desk asked the manager over the mic to confirm but only asked about my son and refused to ask about my husbands refund, who again never went, I asked her several times if she can please ask him over the mic and she continued to refuse and just kept talking to him about my sons refund. I asked why can’t you simply ask if my husband can get a refund because he had to stay back with my son, she finally did and then kept asking if he wanted her to give us tickets for another time even when he would say a refund, I kept telling her no we don’t live here we are from Texas. Finally after the 6th time of her asking she finally gave me the refund. This is definitely not a place I would...
Read moreIt could have been great, unfortunately, their staff is not properly trained, I was waiting on the guy to take my tube so I could sit down and get the tube hooked up so I could go up the hill, well I handled him the stap, he said ma'am sit down so I was in the process and this guy had no Better idea than hooking it up without even looking if I was sitting down already which I wasn't. So the tube knocked me down, I fell on my ribs on top of a wooden railing, I couldn't even get up due to the pain. Manager made excuses like the guy was new and just trained the day before to which I replied then if you know he is not fully trained why would you put him there. Of course they wouldn't take responsibility. I was offered an ice patch and a refund for my ticket. If it's his staff injuring me instead of me falling because of actually performing the tubing then they should be responsible for it. I didn't cause it, their...
Read moreI took my grandson for his first time today. Nice people who run the place but it doesn't seem right to charge an adult $10 and a child $7.50 when they're only able to do 1 ride per hour maximum due to the crowds. Seems to me there should be a limit as to how many people you let in otherwise even though it's an amazing place for recreation and family fun it's highly disappointing when you might get to do one ride per hour at the very most. Honestly I'd be willing to pay double if I was able to go four or five times per hour but it's incredibly disappointing standing there in the cold for over an hour waiting for 1 trip down the hill. We had a blast our only time down the hill but I will not waste my money on standing in line that long ever again. Even the manager told us when we were buying tickets to expect long lines and that many people were complaining when they opened the day prior because of...
