Prairie Pines Nature Preserve — Attraction in Waverly

What a gem of a place right outside Lincoln. So much greenery and so much peace can be found here. This is definitely a place to recharge and rejuvenate your soul. We visited Prairie Pines on a Saturday morning for an outdoor hike. They have a very neat outdoor "ninja" play area with a wooden climbing wall and other obstacles for kids. The trails are nice and secluded. A good place to go and enjoy nature near Lincoln on a nice day. The hours are pretty limited though, just open on Saturday I believe, so check before you go.
