Dowalter Vineyards / KnoxView Farm Winery — Attraction in Wayne Township

We made our first visit to the winery this past weekend, and it was such an enjoyable afternoon! This charming establishment features a picturesque vineyard tucked in the quaint countryside of Fredericktown/Knox County. I loved how we were enthusiastically greeted by the owners Gayle & John and the resident winery pup, Atlas. Each of the wines we sampled were not only brilliant (super clear, no cloudiness). They were also well balanced - great flavor, tannins, and acidity. They had a nice selection with variety to compliment any craving. I enjoyed the blackberry slushi myself, they also have piña colada available. Gayle let us know the flavors will be rotating soon! They have created a refreshing and serene atmosphere where I could spend hours sipping and just relaxing. I enjoyed walking down a few rows, seeing seeing the start of this year's growth.
