I have sensory issues & allergies to a ton of cosmetic products & I cannot say enough about how amazing & wonderful Hope Hill products are. I recently visited the farm & purchased hundreds of dollars worth of their lotion (no exaggeration) because literally every time I share with someone they come back asking where I got it and do I have more. The regular lotion goes on like milk, soaks into your skin right away & leaves you feeling calm & hydrated. I put it on just about every possible skin ailment & it does the trick! Dry skin? Bug bites? Heat rash? Chafing from the cold? I love this lotion so much & love supporting such a great establishment! Visiting the farm is completely worth it. The lavender ice cream leaves you feeling refreshed & calm. The gift shop has a variety of of foods, local artists, books, and cool stuff that is so worth checking out! I also have been searching for a shave cream that doesn’t leave me feeling itchy after using - and they have it!! If you haven’t been here, I suggest you give it a try! Everyone at the establishment was so nice & they do a bunch of neat programs including morning yoga at the farm. They have adorable horses and bees - one of my favorite experiences here was walking through the lavender and just hearing all of the bees humming happily while they are working. Do your self a favor and invest time to check this place out!!! They also have multiple times that are good to visit to see various types of lavender in bloom & holiday events! They also support veterans which I think is fantastic due to the calming effect that the high grade...
Read moreWe drove three hours with our family, eagerly anticipating a visit to this beautiful lavender field. Unfortunately, our excitement quickly waned as we felt unwelcome and rushed during our visit. Despite arriving before closing time, we were repeatedly reminded that they closed at 3 pm, which made us feel pressured to hurry through the experience, especially challenging with a child in tow.
Moreover, while the website clearly stated that self-guided tours were free during business hours, we were unexpectedly coerced into making a purchase to qualify for 'free entrance.' We had every intention of supporting the farm by visiting their store and purchasing lavender products, but the transaction felt forced rather than voluntary.
Adding to our disappointment, workers approached us directly to complain about our length of stay, although we were well aware of the closing time and were within our allotted visiting hours. This treatment contrasted sharply with how others seemed to be welcomed and accommodated.
Overall, while the lavender fields were okay, our experience was marred by feeling unwelcome and undervalued as visitors. We will not be returning and would have preferred clarity upfront about any entrance fees rather than feeling pressured to spend. One worker even suggested we could pay $15 to visit a different farm, which left us questioning if our patronage was truly wanted. If possible, I would rate this experience zero stars to reflect our...
Read moreWe had one of the most memorable experiences at Hope Hill Lavender Farm. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the owners made us feel like cherished guests. Their genuine welcome set the tone for a perfect day.
The farm itself is beautifully maintained and brimming with charm. I'm not usually a fan of lavender, but their ice cream and lemonade completely won me over—the flavors were subtle and refreshing, striking just the right balance.
Beyond the delicious treats, we were delighted by the thoughtful touches throughout. We even got to visit with the donkeys and explore the buzzing charm of their bees—a unique highlight that added to the wholesome atmosphere.
Hope Hill Lavender Farm is more than just a visit—it's a heartfelt experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape, a taste of something delightful, and the kind of hospitality that stays with you long...
