We dropped in to the Van Riper-Hopper Museum never expecting to be entertained as much as we were. Hannah was so enthusiastic and excited to share her knowledge she made the day terrific. There was a lot of back and forth banter as we continuously asked questions and she did her best to answer. We had a really lovely afternoon! The house itself is beautiful and the rooms are maintained to perfection. So many wonderful pieces! Hard to choose a favorite but i do love those embroidered chairs!!

Very nice place to spend a couple of hours. There are a few buildings, one is open for tours, and worth the trip. Our guide, Hannah, was knowledgeable not only about the property's history, but of Wayne and the area in general. The grounds are nicely kept, there is a garden area, and picnic tables. An enjoyable visit.

Nice place to visit... Only partially opened as renovation works in progress... A human made water reservoir present in front of the property.... If you are taking a guided tour (45 minutes to 1 hour $5 each person) the person will be explaining the history of Wayne... Old living style things which were used can be seen...
