It's a beautiful viewpoint. The parking lot was pretty good sized and I'm pretty sure there were a couple of picnic tables hanging out ready for use as you view the valley below. Most of the viewpoints do not have bathrooms so plan for that. Loved our short drive on this parkway and our stop at this view point.

It's a beautiful viewpoint. The parking lot was pretty good sized and I'm pretty sure there were a couple of picnic tables hanging out ready for use as you view the valley below. Most of the viewpoints do not have bathrooms so plan for that. Loved our short drive on this parkway and our stop at this view point.

I have to say that the whole Blue ridge parkway is beautiful, to drive and to hike. All the overlooks are well maintained and give stunning views of the valley below. The park service does a good job in monitoring the weather and closing in times of...

Great overlook of Rockfish Gap. Not as busy as some other overlooks, so it's a great place to see the valley and mountains. There are 2 free view finders and a.pair of picnic tables. Place is pretty clean. Large parking area....
