So many years ago now used to bring our girls here all of the time. Time slipped away...An elder now widowed. Circumstance being what it is finds this country to core woman living middle of the city 5th floor apartment . Found myself remembering those days gone by. When feeling almost certain unable to breath borderline panic as so oft happens of late finds me making a beeline to this haunt my yesteryear. The backpack tunes little something to read and rocking chair. It calms me soothes soul. CSP has in no uncertain terms been huge enabling me maneuver seemingly impossible space i find myself. Isnt just the place either. The staff aside from performing their routine tasks as expected are grand ambassadors state of New Hampshire. Every one these youngsters ive encountered great attitudes respectful; decent kind individuals.. So grateful for this blessing Clough State Park and Staff.

Favorite family spot. If you ever need a colorful sunset, this is the place to be. Tables, grills, places to camp, water is nice. If you show up in the evening just as they're closing the gate and you park your car at the Everet dam, you'll have the whole place to your self and will be able to catch that gorgeous sunset without anyone bothering you. If you bring your dog, you can walk them along the top of dam. They "arent allowed" in the park or on the beach... that is, as long as the staff is there to stop you durring normal park hours... get it?

Spent a few hours with my fiance and her two daughters. They were attending a birthday party their friend had, so we took the opportunity to go out in the kayaks while they swam on the beach with their bday party friends. It was peaceful. Beautiful area. The boat ramp was a little aged but since they're just kayaks that was pretty irrelevant, lot of shallow areas and fallen branches/trees I wouldn't try to put anything bigger than a little flat bottom Jon boat in, which I saw a couple of, too. Anyways great time and would definitely go again.

This is a great state park to bing the kids to cool off on hot summer days. They have plenty of bathrooms and lots of shady spots with tables. The water isn't deep so toddlers can really enjoy the water. There are some bathrooms there. What I love is the grills that are free to use. If you like fishing swimming and great views, this is the place for you. It was under twenty dollars for seven of us. Three adults and four kids. Definitely coming back!!

Great spot, very well maintained and a lot of improvements over the past few years. Can sense a level of dedication and pride. Great for taking the family out for a day at the beach, store offers a lot of things including ice cream for the kids! (If they behave 🤪) beach is a bit rocky but is very large so typically a lot of privacy. Saw staff cleaning the porta potties regularly. Will definitely be back!

A fantastic rustic state park with a quiet lake environment. Lots of walking trails and picnic tables. Sandy Beach with charcoal grills available. This place is perfect for families with children and not very crowded. Update 04-13-24: We visited today after some heavy rains over the past week and the water levels were super high. Parking lot was mostly under water and dam was flowing fiercely.
