Lake Weatherford — Attraction in Weatherford

I saw a few negative reviews about Weatherford Lake and decided to write good reviews back. I came here on June last year and see beautiful lotus 🪷 flowers and fishing 🎣. It’s pretty Lake but there is different things that depend on time and month you go and depending on weather whether too dry or too rain will affect the lake. I came here for a picnic and sightseeing, so peaceful and relaxing. Definitely during a dry season but still a beautiful place to walk around and even without the water the greenery is lovely. Will be planning on returning to see it once we’ve had some rain. Its a very nice and peaceful escape from fort worth not to big but there are some boat ramps and jet ski launches that are public they have a very cool Lilly pad field that has a very interesting bridge that is a nice long stroll across the top of the water.
