White Crest Beach — Attraction in Wellfleet

So there is no reason for me to include a photo, as this beach is the same as the one before it and the one after it. The beach as Mother Nature intended it to be enjoyed by all is beautiful without question. The fact that people have taken the liberty to impost a enormous parking fee for a beach that is often visited for no more than a few hours is outrageous. What has the town done to improve our enjoyment, absolutely nothing! I felt compelled to stay as long as possible in order to get the most of my parking investment. Word of advice to the town, be sure your employee has the appropriate uniform to identify them as authorized personal to collect fees, some signage of rates might help too. Currently one feel as if they are being hustled by a college kid looking for beer money, nothing in the way we are approached indicated that these kids were legitimate! Wow what a polarizing beach. Absolutely gorgeous and plenty of lifeguards working the tower. Going down the crazy steep sand hill is hard because the sand is very loose. Going up was the most grueling physical exercise I have ever had in my entire life as an adult. The sand is wonderful, the seaweed is minimal, the water is great for August. The rock line to get past was intense. It’s maybe 6 feet wide of fist sized rocks that dislodge and move with the tide. My girlfriend got her shin bruised from one crashing into her when she was trying to get in.

That hill though man.. wow… I hate the beach, like really hate going to the beach. I would have stayed there forever it meant not having to climb that monster. I legit prayed for a sprained ankle so I could maybe get a ride from the lifeguard.

Gorgeous natural wonder. Peaceful when nobody is there. Unfortunately there are ignorant disrespectful people, lacking common sense, that walk on/destroy the fragile eroding sand dunes despite the big warning signs. People in the posted pictures standing/acting foolish on the edges of the dunes should be Fined for trespassing/property damage. The parking fee went up ?? Don't want to go there now? GOOD !!!! Less disrespectful people to abuse the area. Amazing how people don't/can't/refuse to look at the bigger picture to realize the purpose(s) behind something. If it was FREE it most likely would've become inaccessible much sooner than its obviously closer to becoming now. Wake up people. Nothing lasts forever. Access is a Privilege...
