Update: after being Wellington for the last 8 years and living in the same house. I'm starting to realize that the cost of things are not up to par. Such as how my HOA pays for the pump that's at the pond at the dog park. I'm also aware that they don't keep up with the dog park Pawn at all it makes my dogs fart very very bad Pond farts. I won't be taking them there anymore since I'm pretty convinced it's giving them bad fungus that's growing inside them and killing them at this point. Do not take your dogs to the spark and you probably shouldn't move the Wellington either. The HOA over here sucks complete balls. They're always harassing me about your fences your yards the way your house looks but they don't harass the people who are old only harassing people are young. Do not move the Wellington if you are smart you will move far far away and spend too much money in Fort Collins and stay right there. If you are conservative you will move to Windsor or to loveland. Where you rightfully belong. If you came out here called California you should probably not move to Colorado either we hate you!! If you have more than one child I would advise you from not moving the Colorado at all. You should expect every Mortgage in rental be between $2,400 to $4,000 a month. Good luck out there.
love this dog park it has multiple areas for different types of dogs that hang out at. Have the pond they got the sand area and then they have the shy dog area. The only thing that needs to be changed is that I think they need a second entrance to the park by the pond side and maybe a second pop trash can on...
Read moreWonderful local park! I've always been impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep. The splash pad is especially impressive for such a small community; however, operation times can be inconsistent, though I do believe this has gotten better in recent years. This park has a small kiddo play area separate, but within eyesight, from the larger playset, which is nice for families with kids of varying ages. There are large swings and a smaller set, in addition to other unique features like a teeter-totter "boat" and a spinning structure. There are climbing structures and monkey bars as well. I appreciate the use of ramps as it increases accessibility for all ability levels. There are bathrooms and water fountains centrally located with limited covered picnic tables. There are multiple shade trees and benches around. Parking is extensive with both a lot and street availability. Nearby (across a field) is a large fenced dog park. There are baseball diamonds with another little playset to the south of the large park. Directly north there are tennis courts and basketball courts. It can get busy as it is very popular but...
Read moreThis park is just awesome, especially in the summer time when they have the splash pad. Adequate SHADED seating and adequate shade over the playground, tennis courts, batting cages, long dog walk, a couple of acres of open space with healthy grass, two large play structures (one for big kids, one for the little 'uns), and plenty of parking. The splash pad is basically a lot of water being pumped through a bunch of really cool toys and abstract apparatus for kids to run around, get wet, and have fun in the summertime. Think of a modern day neighborhood fire hydrant.
This is definitely worth a drive to...
