During my jaunt through town, I was lucky enough to meet the gals who keep this place looking beautiful. They were holding a planting event to get the gardens in shape for the season. It's so pretty. I can see why people have gotten married here and take their photos here as well as come for tea in the garden and music in the garden. Such an amazing backdrop for any event. Since they were there I also got a tour of the Cottage and to hear the history of how it all started. Not very often you see a thatched roof. It's the only one in South Dakota.
