Down to Earth is simply the best CSA. Local food, grown by local people who are passionate about the growing process, offered in an easy-to-access manner, and always delicious! I love having the option to select specific items myself or to select “farmer’s choice” for a great farmer-curated mix of items - and I can switch things up from week to week. The online ordering system is easy and the pick-up process is simple. The wide and imaginative variety of vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, eggs, flowers and other selections are of the highest quality. This past season (2023) was the first time I became a member of Down To Earth Harvest or any other farmshare for that matter. Their selection of fruits and vegetables were full of variety. One thing I cannot speak highly enough about is their customer service. Bob is really an amazing individual and was always more than accommodating when I was unable to pick my order up on my scheduled day. We love Down To Earth Harvest. We are picky about what chemicals touch our food and are so happy to have clean produce and support a local farm. The veggies are always so fresh, no waxy apples or cucumbers, juicy fruit, and my favorite part is that everything is à la cart. We HIGHLY recommend them, whether you are just two people or a large family, you can order as much or as little as you need. I order what I want, in the quantities that we need, or I can just click farmers choice box if I’m in a rush. We live 45 minutes from the farm, but there is a local delivery spot just a couple of miles from us.
