If I could give this place no stars i most definitely would my fiance is back in the hospital and on more medications because of this place and the so-called "CNA/NURSES" are a joke he sat at the facility for four days sick he was only there for about a week and a half maybe two at the most he due to having a stroke on 12/20 but while he was sick the four days I found out after he was at the hospital or he would have went sooner but his oxygen was 75 the nurse laughed, his heart rate was over 150, fever, and he pushed the button for a nurse at 1 AM she didn’t show up until almost 6 AM it's sick and pathetic to think your okay treating people like that but he pushed the button because he was feeling numb again on his left side which is the side he had his stroke on and I was told by my fiance and his roommate that when the nurse finally decided to pick her head up from sleeping because that's what they do is sleep during the night shift I know someone that has many many pictures of them sleeping on the job but that's why they didn't attend to my fiance so he could have died laying there thinking someone was coming to help him but that definitely wasn't the case again I was told by my fiance and someone else that when the nurse did go in his room to ask why he pushed the button she got mad at him because he said nevermind I pushed it at 1 it's now almost 6 I don't need anything and she got an attitude and was being smart not to mention they was giving him is antibiotics that was very strong the wrong way because the nurses didn't want to hear the machine beep I wish i was making this up it's sick really you don't want to hear the beeping so you'll just let his IV antibiotics and medications just free fall and be done in 5 minutes when it takes him almost an hour when they hook it to the machine while he was there they only cleaned his pic line once and he ended up getting a bad infection due to them being lazy and ignorant they would tell him when he asked for water that they didnt have any it's so sad there when I went to go pick up his stuff his roommate was telling me that my fiance was scared he was actually going to die that night he laid there waiting on a nurse to come and when you see the other patients there omg it breaks your heart I was crying walking down the hall leaving looking at people I didn't even know just sad for them because they have to be there and some don't have a voice on the outside to speak up for them especially if they have deminca I treat my dog better than I see them people at that place treating patients they left one lady in a diaper full for two hours my fiance is a laid back person doesn't ask for much doesn't ever complain even if something is bothering him so I know he had to be scared that he was having a stoke or he was really sick and couldn't take it anymore this place is horrible I don't understand why people go to school to become nurses especially a RN it's not like it's a couple of months it's years CNA on the other hand is only like two months but regardless of what your title says you knew what you was signing up for if you don't want to help people then don't go to school for it you would think that would be common sense but basically all of them seem to be lacking that also if you care about your love one and they are currently there I would definitely get on the phone ASAP and get them moved to a different place and if my loved one was supposed to be going there I would be finding another place my fiance will NOT be going back to that place that's for sure he's only 33 and wants to actually live not die due to neglect, ignorance, and someone being incompetent I'm am truly sorry for anyone that has to be there now and in the future I will definitely pray for the patients at that place and hope they...

After my mother passed away, I really do not want to mention this terrible facility because it makes feel guilty why I sent my mother here. My mom has incurable disease but she declined very very slow at home for 5 years. We only sent her to hospital when she needs to replace the feeding tube. Because my sister, the main care giver, has her own medical issue, we sent my mom to this facility. But after we sent her here, she was hospitalized three times in 2 months with multiple issues like Aspiration Pneumonia, Dehydration, Kidney Failure etc.. She passed away in less than 3 months after we sent her to this facility.

“medicare.gov” shows this facility is a “5-star” facility. I really do not know where “5-star” come from. Seems government website also provides the misleading information now. From my experience, I can only give this facility 0 star.

The Aids keep telling me that they turn the residents every 2 hours. But this is not the truth. I have never seen the Aids turn my mom even if I stay there for 7 or 8 hours during the weekend.

During my visits there, I saw many times the Aids neglected the residents’ call bell and just chatting and laughing. I caught one aid playing cellphone twice in my mom's room .

Many nurses there are lack of experience. One nurse even told me my mom looks normal 1 day before she passed away, but I can see that she was very sick at that time.

The maintenance department does not do there work at all. I noticed that the light switch in my mom's room is not working and reported it to the nurse. One nice nurse told me that several rooms have the same issue so the light is 24/7 on. She reported the issue to the maintenance department. But after more than one month, the issue is still there. Those residents are forced to “enjoy” light all day long.

I do not want to list more issues I noticed because this will make me more guilty. My mom is a Christian and she is enjoying her life with the God now.

Karma will be...

While some of the staff are amazing and really do care and try very hard, the simple truth is the facility does not meet the needs of it's residents as they decline. My mother was there for 6 plus years and the early experience was very good, but then as time progressed and she needed more assistance and medical care, it became more troubling. There is ALWAYS a staffing shortage and the call lights would take 30 to 40 minutes for a response and many times go totally un-answered. (Forget about getting someone to answer the phone at the nurses desk when you call on the weekend most times )Most problematic, is they rely on a local doctor to make all the medical decisions beyond an aspirin and he stops in only once a week -sometimes not even that-and no one has any idea when he will be in which is ridiculous in 2023! The facility is left totally in the dark while your loved one languishes and you beg and plead for real medical attention. Bottom line if your loved one is reasonably self-sufficient and you are engaged regularly, it can be a very nice place with lots of activities and most staff work very hard and care...but if they are in poor health, it becomes a real problem as despite it being a "nursing home", the staff are forever "waiting for the doctor" and your loved one won't get the real medical attention they need or be sent to the hospital until...
