This is one of my favorites places to hike. My uncle and I went this past Sunday and we hiked over 8 miles. However, you can make your hike as long or short as you prefer depending on which trails you take. The trails range from easy to difficult, look at the map online before you go if avoiding the steeper rockier paths is important to you. It’s a great place for bouldering; we saw groups of people with their pads. We also saw a handful of people mountain biking. If you want to see spectacular views climb the fire tower. Read moreLots of trails to choose from. Some trails restrict bikes so check the signs. The park was very busy on my first visit on Sunday November 12, 2023. Trail 11 is not an easy trail to explore. I took that trail to check out the radar station but I turned around because I could not locate it. The old observation tower is really cool.
