Glacier National Park full guide for this summer! 👇👇👇 ✅Be sure to share and save for your future trip planning! With reservations opening for the summer, here are some can’t miss hikes and spots to eat and drink while visiting! Must do hikes: 📍Iceberg Lake - East Glacier 📍Highline Trail - West Glacier 📍Avalanche Lake - West Glacier 📍Hidden Lake - West Glacier 📍Drive or bike the Going to the Sun Road 📍Ptarmigan Tunnel - East Glacier 📍Grinnell Glacier - East Glacier 📍Wild Goose Island Overlook 📍Virginia Falls - West Glacier Must do activities: 💧Swim in Lake McDonald 💧Swim in Swiftcurrent Lake 💧White water rafting on the middle fork Must stop food and drinks: 🌲Lake McDonald Lodge 🌲Swiftcurrent Lodge 🌲Huckleberry Patch 🌲Mooses Saloon 🌲Sweet Peaks Ice-cream As always, please follow the leave no trace principles while visiting the parks. Take out any trash you bring with you including compostable material like apple cores and bread scraps and sadly now masks. If you encounter animals like squirrels, chipmunks, or marmots, please do not feed them as it encourages them to go closer to humans and steal their food (this has become a major problem in the parks). Together we can make our parks wonderful for everyone to enjoy! Tag someone you would bring here! Drop a like, save and share this post, and leave a comment with your thoughts!

However, the only downside is the limited space and parking availability, which might stop from fully enjoying the viewpoint with ease...

This is a really great stop, a bit silly but still cool at the same time. It is a tiny tiny island right on St. Mary Lake. The island is actually one of the most photographed places along the Going to the Sun Road. It is dwarfed in comparison the peaks around it and the lake it resides on. Probably one of the most iconic views in GNP, worth stopping and spending some time admiring the beauty of Saint Mary Lake and the splendor that is the rockies that surround her.
