If I could give 0 stars I would. The owners were extremely rude and exhibited blatant racism towards us (we are a Hispanic family). Upon arrival they did not greet us and were very unfriendly. The winery entrance is the cellar and you have to walk all the way to the back to find the door to the room where you can taste and buy the wine. After the very awkward wine tasting, we bought a few bottles (out of courtesy at this point) and we headed out. As we were walking through the cellar, towards the exit, we noticed our car keys were missing and it seemed like because we were scrambling through our bags looking for them, they became suspicious (they have visible camera monitors in the wine room) and the woman came out of the back room and stopped at a distance from us (she stood there and didn't say anything). We told her we were missing our keys and without saying anything she turned back to head to the wine room. We followed her into the room but the husband couldn't see us behind his wife and asked "Are they still out there" (while attending other customers ... RUDE) and his wife put up her hands as if to silence him from saying anything else in front of us. When we didn't find our keys , we thanked them and started walking out and the woman followed us out. The entire experience was very sketchy, awkward, and disturbing. I'm disappointed we gave them any business at all and I would not recommend this winery to anyone. Please take your...
Read moreVisited this establishment on October 29th, 2020. This is a more of a retail establishment in the basement of a residence and not a true winery with vineyards on site. That being said George the Proprietor is 79 years old and is the no nonsense grandfatherly type that everyone should have. It is obvious he loves his family and his country without a doubt. My wife and I loved meeting George and had a wonderful time here Time flew by and were there for about 2.5 hours. He has a wide selection of wines to choose from everything from dry to sweet and his prices are very reasonable. Of the wines he had we tasted several of his "dry" wines with the best for us being his dry port wine. He also has an amazing apple pie whiskey that is very good. As with any wine tasting location if a wine if past its prime from being opened Don't just give them a bad review let the proprietor know I am sure they would open...
Read moreMe and boyfriend order Groupon tickets to this place and scheduled to go at 4pm, but due to timing issues we wanted to reschedule and called 20 TIMES with no answer. We went early in hopes to see the man in charge in person to see if we can get in early, but once we got there no one was there. After entering the establishment, yelling out hello and knocking on doors, and waiting half an hour, we left. After calling once again after our set appointment he finally picked up the phone, and lied saying that he was there the entire time and his phone was working. Our group was 4 people, he was never there. He also had a proud trump flag up on the front of his house. AFTER SETTING UP THE APPOINTMENT CALL AGAIN TO...
