This is how to access antelope island and to see the causeway. We went midday and had a two car wait ahead of us. It’s not a huge tourist attraction that you need to reserve a time slot or anything like that. Pay the minimal fee, get a map and go enjoy the island! There is a pit stop with washrooms before you cross. We stopped here as I couldn’t have waited nor enjoyed the causeway.

It’s just a Tollbooth and access to the park.

Friendly staff! I called here for information on access on bicycles. There is a toll for the causeway of $2 per car in addition to the State Park entry fee. You can purchase a Causeway Pass for $15 that sticks to your Annual State Park Pass ($75). The staff told me that they allow 2 bicycles per entry for the Causeway Pass but I have yet to cycle in and confirm.

It's a pretty good place to take pictures of the salt lake (or at least what's left of it) and the surrounding western mountains. While you are required to pay to get to the island, the parking lot just before the toll is free to enter and it has a lot of good open spaces to take pictures and (if you have a...
