The owner is amazing. Very knowledgeable and genuine. Down to earth. We had great conversation and learned a lot along the way. Well worth it for the price of admission. Go in with an open mind and you may just learn something. Take your time and listen to the stories.

Very nice place. Owner ,which was very nice and friendly, explained and answered all the questions we had with a lot of knowledge. It was very interesting experience. Entrance fee is very reasonable.

A really great experience! I'm a "history buff" and learned several new things from Fred about the confederacy e.g. about versions of the flag. Very beautiful property too.

The Crooked Creek Civil War Museum is a diamond in the rough. The wonderful and intelligent Fred guides you through a civil history which actually occurred right underneath your feet. You get to touch and hold many items from the Civil War era and Fred gladly lets you take as many pictures as you want. Step out on the back deck of the museum to see where an actual battle was fought across the creek. View cannons and buggies and relics you will find nowhere else.

And the price to get in for this fun adventure is so extremely low I don't even want to tell you how much it is, because I tell Fred he needs to raise the price. The Crooked Creek Civil War Museum is not a business to Fred, it's an educational experience as Fred hopes our national past would be remembered in an accurate light for all people.

Tell Fred Michael Voigt Photography says hello and that we will see...

I enjoyed the visit to the museum so much. I grew up in this area and never knew what happened here until homeschooling my kids got me interested in the Civil War. Fred was so knowledgeable and friendly and just real. He made us feel like we were old friends of his. This is a place like no other and if you ever come to Cullman, AL(the best place in the world :) stop by and see the museum and beautiful cabin. My husband and I had a ball and stayed forever and loved every minute!...

Amazing experience! Fred, the owner, was so knowledgeable and you can tell that he REALLY enjoys his collection and history. In this museum, you can actually tough and play with things. Where can you find that kind of hands on museum?? He also has a gift shop and a large property, right near the creek, where the battle took place. You can go for a hike, and get lost in the beauty! He also runs a bed&breakfast on the property, which is also very awesome! Highly...
