We took off work and drove almost an hour so excited for a pumpkin patch day as a family. Within 15 minutes we were getting our money back to leave. This farm only cares about people on field trips during the week and does not advertise that at all. I suggest they close like all the other pumpkin farms to accommodate field trips only during the week. We paid our fees and waited for the hay ride. There is no real organization for the lines so we waited where everyone else was waiting. We were then skipped for the hay ride. I asked where we should be waiting for things if we are not a part of a field trip and was told basically to wait and squeeze in where we can. That’s not acceptable when we’ve already been waiting and no one is trying to let us do any of the activities. I said that was fine and I would get my money back and leave. Another employee asked if we were part of the school trips and very rudely said “we can’t make everyone happy” when she found out we were not. We will not be back and will not recommend this place at all. There was one VERY nice lady though that I want to be clear was super helpful and very sweet at the register! She is the only reason for two stars vs the one that...
Read moreWe had a terrible time! First thing was the owner yelled at my 2 year old special needs son for touching a mum! It scared him and he cried most of the time it can take one small thing to set his day and that was it. We definitely were disappointed and mad! I don’t know many people that would tolerate someone yelling at their special needs child over a flower when it’s a place for children. Should to be ashamed of herself and that was as soon as we arrived! Everything looks pretty run down and very well used for the prices! Everything there is very costly. Of course needless to say we will never be returning and there’s nothing that she can say in return of my review that would change my mind or have me telling other people how of an experience we had was unwell and will never...
Read moreWe visited Holly Forks Farm today for a homeschool field trip and the experience went far beyond our expectations. The staff was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and worked so well with the kids, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable.
The farm has something for every age. We had a blast with the bounce houses, the tire park, picking our own pumpkins, and riding the trolley around the farm. The outdoor space was perfect for eating lunch in the fresh air, and the snacks, hot food, cold drinks, and ice cream made it easy to keep everyone happy.
This is a wonderful place for families to spend the day. It’s worth the drive, and you’ll leave with great memories. Be sure to stop by and support this local family-run business! You...
