Summerfield Park — Attraction in West Sacramento

The dog park is sloped. It's very difficult to walk because of this and there are a large number of grass clumps that may trip you. I was just there this past week and the mulberry trees have dropped their berries and it is a mess. Someone decided to place the one bench 2 feet from the garbage can where everyone deposits their dog poop and the stench is horrible when you take a seat. Just a tip, don't sit there in the summer months. Heat, plus poop equals yuccch! Thanks city employee. It's narrow and not conducive to throwing a frisbee. This fenced area for dogs is quite narrow and oftentimes is empty. There have only been 1-3 dogs present 5 of the last 20 times I’ve gone.
