We went to TreeTop looking for a COVID-safe adventure to celebrate one of our daughter's birthdays. We had a blast! We went with an 8 y.o., a 9 y.o., and a 10 y.o. Everyone had fun. The 8 y.o. was just tall enough to make the height cutoff, but sometimes couldn't get her buckle slid over the cable without help, which I think added to the fear she was needing to brave, but she did great and felt proud of herself. If you've got a kid that barely makes the 51" cut-off, be advised that they'll be standing on their tiptoes a lot to keep their clip moving over junctures in the cable, which feels a little precarious. They could use a few more steps on some of the platforms to give younger kids the height boost they need in order to feel comfortable and confident. The courses are a lot of fun (even for adults) and the environment is beautiful and well-shaded. The staff was mellow, knowledgeable, and supportive. We had a particularly good experience with our guide, Ethan, who took us through "Ground School" and then was there whenever we needed him throughout our experience.

I went with my kids for their friend's birthday party, and it was a blast! At first glance, the course seemed pretty easy, but after we actually got up into the trees, we realized it was harder than it looked. There are 4 or 5 courses at this time, labeled blue, red, or black, indicating their level of difficulty. We made it through 2 blue courses before we were so tired, we didn't want to continue! We will definitely be coming back, maybe after we work out a little in preparation. I'd recommend you come check out Tree Top Sac, and help keep this cool place in business.

UPDATE: I took 5 children ranging in ages from 8 to 14 and two adults for a tree top adventure. I have some advice. It may seem two and a half hours is a lot of time to spend in the courses up in the trees, but it turns out it really is not as much time as you would like. That is particularly true because you have to do a 20 to 30 minute safety course on how to use the rope systems and be safe up in the trees. And, even more true if you're going with younger children or anyone who is afraid of heights. Because I took younger children, it turns out a few of them were quite afraid once up in the course. They got stuck on the courses and a few came down the ladder leading up to some of the courses because of how high the course was. In the 2 and 1/2 hours we were there, I only went on two courses. Bummer. My teenager and other adult went on 5 courses because they didn't watch the young children. So, keep in mind if you are going with anyone who's afraid of heights or unsure of the courses, you may not have enough time to enjoy the courses yourself. So plan accordingly! We also had one child who went on the simplest course and because they were so afraid they stopped. That was disappointing because it's so expensive. The staff were great though!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Finally this Park is open in West Sacramento! They did a great job converting a natural oak Grove into a ropes and zipline course. They catch the area very natural and preserve many of the trees.they are offering 20% off for a limited time, and once that and residents of the city of West Sacramento receive $5 off every ticket. They are allowing people to walk through the course to check it out for free. They also have a free exploratory Park area for children. They are in the process of putting in a parking lot and kiosk. Right now the way to access the pay area is to enter into the residential area...

What a fun little gem located in a beautiful neighborhood in West Sacramento! Tree Top Sac is perfect for friends, families, and team bonding!

My summer camp counselors and I spent our last gathering of the summer here. When we arrived, we were a bit confused because it was located on the edge of a neighborhood in West Sac... but what a great way to utilize the space and trees! It offers something new to the families in the area, definitely better than the average neighborhood park.

Courses: There are currently 6 courses (1 tutorial, 2 beginner, 2 intermediate, and 1 advanced). Out of 8 of us, only half of us had previous experience. 2 of us completed all 6, 4 completed up to 5, and the other 2 stopped after the beginner and 1 intermediate course. I would consider the courses challenging but super fun and doable - one of our little campers met us there (she is 8-10yo) and she was able to complete all the courses with slight moderation!

Customer service: Excellent service all the way through! Karin greeted us at the entrance and made it super quick and easy for us to get signed up and ready to go. Our guides, Peter and Renee, did an amazing job explaining the procedures and walking us through all the courses! They gave helpful tips and were very encouraging - especially when we felt stuck in the middle of the course!

Overall, super friendly staff and great local outdoor adventure! I would highly recommend...

Brought up 8 girls (ages 11-12) for my daughter’s 12 year old bday along with her little brother and friend (ages 8-9). This was such a great experience. From the moment we parked, we were greeted by staff, the door held open for us, checked in and shown tables for our group. Orientation was great and the low practice level to make sure we understood the safety equipment was a great way to get practice before hitting our first course. Throughout our 2 hours there, our group spread out and touched all 5 courses and every person in our group found themselves challenged. Some kids hit blocks but the staff walked them through from the ground. Other kids were breezing through and we found ways to make some obstacles more difficult (“do that one again, but no hands this time!”) - We wish we had more time on the ropes, but it was a great day. Highly recommend it as a day trip out (we live about 2 hours away). Definitely recommend it for parties. We definitely talked to each parent beforehand to make sure this was something their kids would feel comfortable doing. Great fun and we’re talking about making a trip back up...
