This is one of the tunnels on the Upper Bend Rail Trail (#2). Very accessible. It is close to route 50, so it is a quick pull off on either end (Google maps tells you position of middle of tunnels, not the accessible ends). In this case there are turns off of 50 on each side of the tunnel, which is rare for these. The west end is the shortest walk. The trail "crosses" the side road, and there is a small parking area. There is also a small area one can park on the other end, but it is a longer walk.

Fun to walk through and see all of the calcium. It was a little bit scary knowing there’s a grave yard above it, I did hear a few voices. One whispered “hey” and another whistled. My emf reader would not stop spiking to 40,50,60 and 70, so I would say it’s haunted. A few satanic things there like candles from rituals along with satanic drawings.

Easiest walk to the tunnel is to take a right on Flinderation Road, then your 1st right, and park right in front of the small gate. Only a 2 minute walk to tunnel. Very cool and spooky place!! Take a flashlight and be prepared for a wet and slippery walk inside, but definitely worth the adventure!!

I lived about 15 minutes away from this place. I went there a couple times as a kid and as I got older always gave me the creeps. Lol. I rode horses a lot so I also rode with my parents through the tunnel. A great place to be in the day time. And the dark. Don’t get scared. Bundle up. Bring a flashlight. Cause it gets dark. And cold....
