Jefferson County Parks & Rec — Attraction in Harpers Ferry

This review is specific to one of the soccer programs that they are running (Futsal League). This is hands down the WORST recreational soccer league that I have ever experienced across the entire country and beyond. From the absurd timing of games for really young kids (expecting U8's to show up for midweek makeup games as late as 8pm, their bedtime!); to allowing entire teams that practice together outside of the league to register their rosters as a team, resulting in ridiculously unbalanced match ups of all boys vs co-eds (boys and girls mixed); to mentally inexperienced "trigger-happy" referees with delusions of grandeur that give out yellow cards (sin-bin cards) to YOUNG kids (U12's!) for accidental fouls, completely destroying their confidence in the process....

This is a hard working team that bring alot to the community! There is the AMP theatre that has weekly concerts and festivities throughout the year.
