Water Ways — Attraction in West Virginia

Harassed and treated poorly by staff! We took my boyfriend’s son there for his birthday. The staff approached my boyfriend and said he was being kicked out of the park for inappropriately groping people. I thought for sure this was a mix up due to my boyfriend’s son being special needs and maybe he ran into someone who took it the wrong way. We were told no, it was because he had been inappropriately touching other people on multiple occasions. We asked if there was proof of this and Levi Goore told us yes there was video evidence, but he refused to show us. We were then told that the park had called the police and they would let the police view such video. They never called the police. We had to call the police ourselves because those are huge allegations in our eyes. A state trooper arrived to view the footage and Levi Goore could not find the footage. I asked for my money back and was denied. The state trooper did his best, but was unable to do anything unless the park showed evidence. Then, Levy Goore says he found the video footage, but refused to show the state trooper. We are now considered trespassers and will be arrested if we ever return. We are completely lost here. Levi Goore you got this wrong and you know it. Instead of being a decent human being and owning up to your mistake you chose to go this route and completely humiliate us. You should not be allowed to work there and treat people this way. We want justice for how we were treated, especially my boyfriend. My boyfriend didn’t deserve this and neither did the entire family group. I just wanted to warn others of this man Levi Goore. The park and Levi Goore will be hearing from an attorney. I pray he doesn’t treat his staff like this, they all hung their heads like they were terrified to speak...

This is the only water park near us, my kids want to go, but they keep raising their prices every year and what to show for it? The bathrooms are disgusting, outdated, small, the floors you can’t tell if they are dirty or clean ever, they are not kept clean throughout the day just keep getting worse and worse the longer you stay. When I go we stay all day I have no choice to use the restroom but I’d rather wait and change at home than change in those bathrooms. Everything is just old and outdated throughout the park. THEY GET A-LOT of business, again, this is the only water park around and people want to go. I spent 60 dollars today to take my family to a park that made me feel dirty and uncomfortable the whole time. The lifeguards are very kind, I’ll give them that. It’s just disappointing how the park isn’t being kept up well, I’d pay 60 dollars every week to take my family here if it was a nicer place. Wish someone who cared about the place could take over and give it the attention it needs, but they know people will...

Wooded walkways need repairs - broken boards and rotted boards are covered with rugs - very unsafe. Better filtration and cleaning practices need to be performed. The mud areas need blocked off or something like wood chips put in the areas. Kids were walking in and playing in the mud then jumping in the pools - disgusting and poor parenting. Lifeguards are the laziest I have ever seen. One was sitting on the cement area at the bottom of the slide with a partially deflated tube under her but while she picked zits from her upper inner thighs. Another sat in a chair on the island with sunglasses on taking a nap. Feet first body slide guidelines are not enforced - as per the life guard - "headfirst sliding isn't a danger ". I just love advice and safety from a 16 yo. The island area smells of pure urine, the smokers gag you to death with their chain smoking, and vaping in pools is also not restricted. The entire place is not very clean and the island area is obviously only cleaned...
