A very nice park in exton. It is still under developing stage. Large soccer/football/cricket ground is there. Sand volleyball court is there. Canopy stand near to restrooms and a good start point for valley forge trail, Lot of people for biking , walking or running in trail park their cars in this lot. Ample car parking area, Handicapped parking near to restrooms , bike lock stand , toddler play area and kids play area with slides , swings and bars. Small paved trail around the park , especially small land covering kids play area, sand volleyball court. Evenings are best times to bring kids, let them play in play area and parents can walk or jog around the small trail by watching kids. Play area not padded but filled with softwood chips. Park has a restrooms which are clean and well maintained. Since it is newly developing park cannot expect a big trees for shades but there few where you can rest for shades. There are picnic tables with grill (3). Small family get together or small party can be planned here. Loading to picnic area/grill stand is easy, distance about 60 feet from drop off area. A nice upcoming well planned park. Come and enjoy this park with family friends.

This beautiful little gem is hidden away from all the hustle and bustle in Exton. Once you find the parking lot there is a lot to do. The park has two playground structures that are unique and fun. Volley ball courts and open fields if you desire space for a pick up game. A small paved walking path loops around one side of the park for shorter walks. If distance is what you crave then jump on the Chester Valley trail. It runs through the entire park has a dedicated trail head. It's a great place to meet up and go for a bike ride or a run.

Went here to walk trails because I happened to be in the neighborhood. The trail around the pond is pretty, good for birdwatching, but also pretty primitive (was muddy and would be really bad after rain) and short. The pond trail fed into a larger and better-maintained loop trail that I thought, based on the sign at the trailhead, would eventually end back at the parking lot. However, when I got about 3/4 around the trail, it appeared to dead-end in a dormant construction zone, at the end of which were some "trail closed" signs. Next to this termination were some private properties and there was no visible way to pass in back of them, so I ended up having to walk for about 5 to 7 minutes on the nonexistent shoulder of Swedesford Road with speeding traffic coming at me until I got past the private properties, could run back across the busy road and get back on the loop trail back to the parking lot. I hope they're going to finish trail construction and/ or better mark the trail soon because while most of my hike was nice, the last part wasn't, and would have been very difficult if I had a child or...

Exton Park can be accessed from Swedesford Road about a half-mile East of Ship Road. The entrance is on the right hand side as you're traveling East. This park is a work in progress, but it does have lots of trails where you can walk and check-out the big pond or the woods the fields and even a swampy, watery area that house Beavers. That is correct, I have seen Beavers there personally over the past five years or so. There is also a Sickle Pear Tree by the West End of the pond which I guess is at least a hundred and fifty years old. It is being strangled to death by many, many thick Vines, and something needs to be done ASAP before the vines kill off this tree that is so old, has obviously a great deal of History , and still...
