As far as this being a big playground with lots of stuff for the kids to play on, yes its there. I didnt originally see the extras, little concrete paths with painted rebar gazebos etc. There is a little slide hidden as well. These were all over grown. My biggest problem was i brought my almost 2 year old grandson and there isnt a lot for him to do. Yes he could walk around the small items, use the teeter totter (he wasnt interested) and there were 2 swings set up for youngsters but all the slides were too big or too steep for me to safely let him go on without assistance. Also the whole elevated play area is connected and he loves to walk around but the further you go the higher it gets and with older kids zipping by (as kids playing will do) i got very worried about him being bumped off one of the openings. Also the family rest room only had essentially a small bench for diaper changes (keep a changing pad in your diaper bag) and no trash can in there. There is a few right outside where the picnic tables are. We also went on a Sunday so during a weekday it will be less busy. If you have older kids that have good balance and climbing abilities, have at it, theyll love it. For the wee kids, definitely check it out but be prepared to literally walk almost everywhere right next to them especially if you let them on the elevated sections. I saw some of the other reviews and yes some parts are definitely showing wear but nothing...
Read moreIt's showing its age a bit, but this is a really great park. It's huge, and there are so many options- tons of slides, swings (including adapted swings), monkey bars, musical instruments, a seesaw, climbing walls, a balancing log, large rock structures to climb, tunnels, things to spin on- you name it, this playground has it. there's also a separate natural play area, a small shelter house with picnic tables, and restrooms. The one thing I don't like is that there's only one set of normal stairs, at the very far end, to get on to the main play structure, so less adventurous caregivers (read: adults who don't want to follow their charge down a slide, but may break something trying to climb down a rock wall) can only take the one set of stairs to get on or off. There are two other places to get on or off that are similar in difficulty (ramps), however the playground area is set down further than the sidewalk around it, so you either have to go out around the wall created by the different elevations, or brave the several foot drop from the top of the wall to the playground floor. Other than that, it's...
Read moreThis park is a family haven, boasting the largest playground I’ve seen! It’s a dream for all ages with slides, swings (including adaptive ones), monkey bars, musical instruments, seesaws, climbing walls, tunnels, and a balancing log 🌟. The natural play area and massive rock structures add adventure, while the picnic area, shelter house, and clean restrooms ensure comfort 🧼. Surrounded by lush plants, the park feels vibrant and well-maintained 🌱. The basketball court is a bonus for active fun 🏀. My only gripe is the single set of stairs to the main play structure, far at one end, making it tricky for less adventurous adults to navigate without braving ramps or a drop from the elevated sidewalk 🚶♂️. Despite this, it’s a fantastic, clean, and engaging park that kids and families will love. Highly...
