This was my first visit to this location and I'm very happy that we decided to stop by because it was absolutely beautiful and very peaceful and actually very clean. I actually lost my ID in this park and somebody from the Westlake Community took my driver's license to the police department and the police department mailed me back my driver's license. Just because of the location and the great community and the Beautiful Park oh, we will be going back quite often. The children's play area is in really good condition and a good size for children...
Read moreNot a large park but has an ample green field (kites? Frisbee? Badminton? blanket picnics?), a playground, restrooms, pavilion w/tables & other picnic tables nearby.
The picnic area: There's a drainage problem - hated seeing through the trees (until fully leaved) into a new(er?) development & suspect "them" for the very soggy land (even rows of standing water). Got muddy shoes (dodging wet/wetter segments) to play board games at a sunny table.

The playground equipment is in very poor condition, paint is peeling, algae covers parts of the structures, and the swings and spring riders are rusted with sharp, unsafe edges.
