Stunning! Made it in my Range Rover Velar. Kind of difficult to find from the Arroyo Salado entrance.... I looked up directions from various online blogs, and the one I thought was most useful was actually misleading. You basically follow the main wash/arroyo until very shortly after the turn off to the seventeen palms oasis (also pretty) and then take a right at the 5 Palms Oasis. After you go to 5 palms, just continue down that road and always keep to the left until you get to the Pumpkin Patch. The very end when you're within walking distance to the Pumpkin Patch is also kind of confusing, but the worst is over. While you can make it out to the pumpkin patch in a 2wd suv it's not recommended. The easiest way to get there is down Pole Line Rd to Tule Wash but like any wash it can be soft deep sand. 4wd or a bike is recommended. If you follow the directions on Google maps, it's way off..so we just kept going towards the Pumpkin Patch marker on the map taking different trails and finally reached it.
