Art Barn School of Art, Inc. — Attraction in Westville

Have volunteered at the Art Barn for years. It's a wonderful place to make art, talk art, learn art, and see art. Great variety of classes and workshops in most techniques of art making... for children, as well. Has a superb clay/ceramics shop and master instructor. Plein air painters really enjoy the rustic nature of the place including a large pond and a deep forest. Even has a primitive shelter far away in the forest for those that want to get away for a bit for some quiet time and to commune with nature. Art Blitz Sept 2024Great event for families and grandparents. Young and adults try different artwork. Watercolor, pottery painting, chair painting and vellum ink painting. Even a hiking. Local artists have booths too. Art for sale outside and inside the Art Barn by local artists. Paintings, jewelry, gorgeous hand painted note cards and even stained glass. Food Truck. Music scheduled in the afternoon both days. Two day event. Peaceful surroundings. I am looking forward to next year. Very nice event. Only disappointment is it should be no a no smoking event.
