Listen up, La Porte—Coulter’s Farm isn’t just a farm; it’s where joy and adrenaline shake hands. Forget barns and goats; this place is packed with next-level fun. First, the zipline. Ever wanted to feel like a bald eagle with nothing to lose? Now you can. It’s fast, thrilling, and a perfect opportunity to scream, “FOR NARNIA!” at top speed. And if you don’t? Missed opportunity.
Then go to the corn maze. It’s like being dropped into a wholesome, Midwestern version of “The Hunger Games”—except the only prize is bragging rights and maybe a hot cider. If you make it out without sending an SOS, congrats, you’re officially a maze master.
Then there’s the tunnel. Ideal for playing ninja escape artist—or just avoiding your kids if they’re trying too hard at the basketball hoops. Speaking of, the hoops action here is intense. Whether you shoot like Michael Jordan or more like Michael Scott, everyone’s got a shot at fun. Just watch out for the kid who insists on dunking on adults.
Now, the wooden trains. Climbing aboard these beauties is like stepping into a Wes Anderson movie—except with more joy and fewer quirky life crises. Make some train noises. It’s basically required. Coulter’s Farm has everything—slides, swings, and energy-draining activities galore. It’s the playground equivalent of caffeine: high energy, lots of laughs, and a little dizzy by the end.
So, grab a pumpkin, conquer the maze, fly on the zipline, and tell everyone the Leslie Knope of La Porte Indiana sent you. They’ll be confused—but they’ll appreciate...

It was large enough to have fun with our two year old. We were early enough in the season to have a great selection of pumpkins. One of the things that I found annoying was the price of the pumpkins were written on them in permanent marker. It was usually written on the side that was likely use as the outward side of the yard decoration. It wasn't large enough to notice the prices from a great distance, but large enough to show up in any pictures of your pumpkin carving. The prices are very reasonable when compared to the more corporate pumpkin patches in the region. There are a few obstacles and wooden built play set for children to play on. Also there are gourdes, and various decorations for purchase as well as apple cider made by...
