A hidden gem worth the drive outside of Wharton. We were there for 3.5 hours with our toddler AND still had so much more to do! It’s worth the visit. #texas #thingstodoinhouston #gundermannacres #cornmaze #pumpkinpatch @Gundermann Acres

A Must-Visit Hidden Gem for Families – Perfect for School Field Trips and Weekend Fun! I recently took my granddaughter here for a school field trip, and wow – what a blast! This place is truly a hidden gem packed with fun activities for kids and families. We spent the entire day and still didn’t get to experience everything! Next time, we plan to try the kid-friendly zip-line, barrel train rides, basketball zone, mining sluece, hamster wheels, paintball gallery, hay maze, flower picking, and of course, visit the birds & adorable farm animals. What we did get to enjoy was just as amazing: • Strawberry 🍓 picking (they were delicious!) • Giant gunny sack slides • Air jumpers & bounce fun • Craft painting & the wool house • Tons of photo ops • A charming gift shop - they even make shirts while you wait. Cute choices for Easter season. And the highlight of the day? The APPLE 🍎 🍏 CANNONS! We had an absolute blast aiming at targets and watching apples explode on impact – pure joy for both kids and adults! For food, my granddaughter brought a sack lunch (she didn’t want the concession which surprised me), but I grabbed a quick and tasty meal from the concession stand – crispy chicken tenders and fries hit the spot. It was quick as well - nice to have a place prepared! We can’t wait to come back and explore the rest. If you’re looking for a fun-filled day with the kids, whether it’s a field trip, weekend outing, or seasonal adventure – this place is a must-visit! Not far from Fulshear, Katy, or Richmond area!!

Awesome play destination! Lots of activities like the petting zoo, berry picking, zip line, train, slides, hay maze, jumping pillows, corn crib, and much more. The activities are spread out across a very large field, so wear walking shoes. The large space, low admission price, and thoughtful accommodations make it a good birthday / field trip location. There is food and drinks for purchase, but you're allowed to bring your own as well. The bathrooms were clean and the staff courteous. Our family will definitely be back!

Fantastic spot for both bringing the family on the weekend or a class field trip! We had a blast and never ran out of fun things to explore. They seriously thought of everything when they designed this place and put in some truly unique treasures too. It’s well laid out, never feels crowded, no lines, and plenty of activities for all ages. Bring your walking shoes and sunscreen because you will want to see everything Gundermann Acres...
