Quonquont Farm — Attraction in Whately

We had our wedding at Quonquont Farm in August 2025. Every aspect of our experience was phenomenal. Three things stood out to us in particular.

First, the venue is absolutely beautiful. There are several options to hold the ceremony to accommodate all types of weather. This includes outdoor spaces such as the orchard for sunny days, an indoor space in the beautiful event barn (where the reception is also held) in case of inclement weather, and an outdoor location under a pavilion, which can be used during almost any weather. We held our ceremony under the pavilion, which was perfect on a hot day because our guests were in the shade. Additionally, there are a multitude of stunning backdrops for photo sessions. Lastly, as mentioned above, the event barn is absolutely gorgeous. Moving forward, the venue is only going to get better because the QQ team is constantly improving the space. For example, they have built a new outdoor bar and expanded the already wonderful cocktail hour patio. All around, amazing!

Second, the team is truly unbelievable. Sara and Alexxis are the best event coordinators you could ever ask for. Leading up to the wedding, we knew that we were in good hands because Sara or Alexxis would respond to every one of our emails by the end of the next day they were in the office. Beyond that, they have a robust organization system in place such that nothing fell through the cracks with them, even if it did with us! This organization system was on full display during the wedding day, as everything went as smoothly as we could have possibly imagined down to every last detail. Their preparedness undoubtedly contributed to their calm demeanor on our wedding day and enabled flexibility throughout the events. More than anything, though, Sara and Alexxis are kind and fun people to be around, which is exactly who you want around you on your wedding day. With all of that being said—Sara and Alexxis, we can't thank you enough for all that you did to help make our wedding as memorable as it was.

Last but not least, the bar was truly spectacular. Shoutout to Tommy for all his work in this area and for being a part of our wedding day! Aesthetically, the bar inside the event barn is beautiful, and the bar for the outdoor patio during cocktail hour was the perfect addition. The team of bartenders is highly skilled in cocktail making. The cocktails rivaled anything we have ever had in Boston, MA. This expertise extended to mocktail options as well, with numerous choices available. The team went above and beyond for our wedding. For example, they made sure to have specific liquors that we suggested for signature drinks, added an additional cocktail that we loved to their summer cocktail menu, and always kept the lines short.

All around, great people and an incredible experience. We definitely hope to come...

Where do I even begin with how amazing Quonquont is?? I can say with full honesty and enthusiasm that we LOVED this venue. Besides being just a stunning location with a beautiful barn, what really pushed it to the top for me was its amazing coordinators. We primarily worked with Maddy who is an absolute angel and made my wedding as stress free as possible. I'm a super intense planner, and Maddy worked so perfectly with me and understood my vision, she was full of helpful advice and was totally committed to making our wedding perfect. What was really amazing to me is her ability to make us feel like the only couple she's working for - she remembered details about our personal lives, was so on the same page as us for our vision.. she made us just feel so special during our planning. And on our wedding day we just stepped back and she took over and everything was BEAUTIFUL. Maddy knew how badly I wanted to have an outdoor ceremony (despite the iffy weather that day), and she was committed to making it happen. And it did! Everything was perfect. During the reception she was working in the background, making sure everything flowed smoothly, and somehow anytime I needed her it was like she magically appears. She is just the best of the best. QQ is a bit of a pricier venue, but it is 100000% worth every penny! Just the ease of planning and not worrying about any hiccups on the day of is worth it. Plus they are like a wedding machine, and have everything covered that you could need. From decorations, to umbrellas in case it rains, to a big amazing staff - really there's nothing missing. Also you have the whole barn and farm to yourself for the evening, it feels so intimate to be in this beautiful space, on this sprawling orchard with all your loved ones - its so magical, something that I felt was lacking in other types of venues (country clubs, resorts, hotels). We could not be happier that we chose to get married at Quonquont Farm! From the moment we saw the farm and the barn we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The venue is gorgeous, and offered a great mix of beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, which was perfect given the time of year (we got married June 20, 2021). And as gorgeous as the venue is, what really makes Quonquont special is the people. The whole team at Quonquont really went above and beyond to make our wedding special. We felt confident the entire time we worked with Jenelle, Sara, and Alexxis that everything would be executed perfectly, and everything was. Like many couples this year, we originally planned on getting married in June 2020 but had to postpone due to COVID. Jenelle and the team at Quonquont were nothing but supportive and empathetic throughout the entire ordeal, and worked so hard to make sure that we were able to have the wedding we envisioned. They spent many hours with us answering all of our questions and offering guidance and expertise as logistics and details needed figuring out. Jenelle, Sara and Alexxis were also onsite with us the entire day of the wedding, and knowing that they were there with us that day really put us at ease. We also chose to use wildflowers from the farm for our wedding flowers, and they were just gorgeous! Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were, and everyone loved that they were from the farm (thanks, Maida!!) The entire day was perfect, and we really didn’t have to worry about anything. We were able to genuinely enjoy the day and it’s a testament to the Quonquont team — they were well-prepared, and very calm, relaxed, and sweet the entire day, which helped us relax and be present.
