This Crossfit gym is lots of things. It's a CF gym obviously but also has a whole other room for weightlifting. 4 main platforms and multiple staggered platforms amongst the rubber mats. Almost every toy & possible for whatever you may need. Sleds, Yoke, GHD's, reverse hyper, kilo plates to get you well versed in the sport for meets, a mobility room with free access to ROMWOD & a ton of bumper plates and bars for metcons and other crossfitty things! Annie, the owner who took over almost a year ago is amazing. You can almost always find her there coaching, doing a foundations class or working out herself. The coaches are top notch (not biased at all, wink-wink) We have two Level 2 coaches and our head coach Nate Bacott basically graduated with a degree in positive coaching and making dreams come true. BUT the best part of Alpine Crossfit is the people that come in daily. Early mornings to evening atheltes, we have the best crew. No one new can come to a class and walk out, NOT have being greeted by at least 10 people. A lot of people think they have to be in shape to start crossfit but all they have to be is ready to make a change in their life. Alpine is a great place to start once you've decided that for yourself.

Coaches who care about your personal goals and progress, with tons of class options. Welcoming community with events and activities outside the gym. Like a 2nd family!

If you are looking to get into shape and don't know about CrossFit . . . read up on it. And after you do head straight to Alpine! I haven't been anywhere else and I don't know why I would . . . Alpine is the best of the best and that's not just me speaking - they have been voted "Best Workout/Fitness Center" in all of Jefferson County!

My husband and I both started doing crossfit here almost 6 years ago - wow! We ended up at Alpine because it is close to our house - we stay because it is great! In the time we've been here we've found so much more than a gym - we've found a family.

The coaches are all amazing - very helpful and motivating. You feel like family the moment you walk through the door for your first foundations class. Everyone goes out of their way to say hello and meet people they don't know.

They have eight different class times on weekdays so it's not too tough to find one that works and they have couple classes Saturday and open gym times as well.

They don't offer any sort of childcare, however, well behaved children (and dogs) are welcome to sit out of the way during class. I have bringing my oldest since she was 2 and my youngest has grown up here (I worked out her throughout my pregnancy) and they will happily sit with the iPad while I work out.

Come by and check it out - you won't regret it!

2021 update: We are still at Alpine and still love it! The gym has been our refuge over the past year and a half and we are so grateful to have had this piece of "normal" through these uncertain times. This community is our workout family and we love the support we find here. Our children now work out with us every Saturday during the Family and Friends class and they look forward to it every week. I am so grateful we can teach them early how fun and rewarding living a healthy lifestyle can be.

2023 update: We have now been here for over 10 years and still love it. There have been many changes over the years but Alpine has stayed true to its come as you are welcoming roots. These people are our family - we cheer each other on, celebrate together, and inspire on another to be our best in and outside the gym everyday.

2024 update: In the 12 years I have been at Alpine it has become so much more than just a gym - it is also our community. I have been working through some injuries over the past year and Alpine has been such a supportive environment through all of it. The coaches are all wonderful at helping work around my injuries while still making sure I have challenging and...

Before Jan 2023, exercising for me included yoga and running. I was always too scared to lift weights at the gym I went to before. Not only was it too intimidating, but I didn’t know what I was doing or where to start. On top of that, I’m way more motivated to workout in group settings. Alpine provided all of that. They are kind, welcoming, and accepting of all backgrounds. They work with you to help you improve and achieve your very best self. It can be scary at first, especially when you feel like you’re doing everything incorrectly. But it becomes less so once you realize that they care about you, your safety, and your overall well-being. The coaches are friendly and exercise patience constantly, and as long as you’re patient with yourself, welcome feedback (this is sacrosanct), and enjoy the journey, you’ll be nothing but happy with your decision to join Alpine. After a year and a half, I am proud to be a part of the...
