Neat bunker and gun installments. I've been to a lot of the world war II bunkers in western Washington and I have not seen any that were this clean as well as lit up to make it feel like you were actually there in the 1940s. Definitely one of the smaller locations but the view is beautiful and the signage by the gun emplacement has a really good depiction of what the bunker...

We loved our trip. The park is beautiful but, since it was toward the end of camping season, the septic holding tanks were quite full and since my husband is a disabled Vietnam veteran, we were able to book the ADA site, which is adjacent to the restrooms. It got quite odorific at times, but wasn't a constant smell. It was this one small issue that kept me from...

Was 20 degrees cooler than Bellingham. CD when Bellingham and Seattle were open. Maybe a bit too family friendly. Babies and children screaming at all hours. Eautiful spot great rolling hills for biking. Lovely field and beaches to explore at low tide. Pretty sure we saw an otter scamper into the water when dogs...
