Bald Eagle-Otter Lake Regional Park — Attraction in White Bear Township

I'm usually at this location only when I'm going out on the lake. I believe this is a great location for anyone looking to try some fishing. The location is very clean and well maintained. The city does a good job at keeping this place plowed in the winter time for those of you who like to bring out your vehicles on the lake. There is free parking here if you choose to park your truck and bring out your ice fishing gear.

It's has a nice dog park with pretty trails, but there is no enforcement of the small dog area or the small dog hours and no one there seemed to care if their large dogs chased and stepped on our small dog. We brought our 16-week-old multi-poo puppy specifically because this site lists "small dog hours," but they doesn't exist. We were very disappointed in some of the other large dog owners. They acted like they owned the place and our little puppy was a toy for their big dogs to chase. Not likely to go back unless it's...

Boat landing porta pottie was clean on July 3rd, very nice. Parking spots for trailers are really tight and the driveway between them is narrow, as well. Make sure you drive a truck and don't have any trees in the grass in front of you because you will have to drive your tow vehicle completely in the grass over the curb to not side swipe the vehicle parked next to you with your trailer when pulling out. This parking lot is from the good old days when 16' boats that were 6' wide were the norm. Anyone with an 8'6"...
