River View Cabins — Attraction in White Bird

FANTASTIC WEDDING VENUE! When you buy raw property on the Salmon river and then your kids get engaged and ask if they can be married on your property you realize what a logistical nightmare that might be. 😳 In looking for nearby accommodations I stumbled on the Riverview cabins website… what an answer to prayer! The property, right on the Salmon River is beautifully landscaped and ready to handle a crowd for an event like a wedding. It is truly a magical outdoor setting with the river and area mountains providing the perfect backdrop for your photos! The venue is able to provide tables, chairs, linens, an archway to decorate for the ceremony, a professional sound system, even flush toilets for the guests! (Totally solved all the logistical concerns I was worried about with hosting a wedding on the river!)

Such a huge blessing to be able to rent out not only the venue, but also all the cabins so that the bride’s and groom’s immediate family as well as bridesmaids and groomsman were all on site for the weekend. Not only did that facilitate the rehearsal and getting ready for the wedding, but allowed for additional bonding and family time that you don’t normally experience at a wedding unless you are at a destination resort.

The owners, Anne and Tom, are fabulous to work with. They are extremely flexible and accommodating so that the big day is everything that you were hoping and dreaming. They went above and beyond to ensuring all our needs and requests were met so the day happened flawlessly.

Those that know me (and I realize you don’t) know that I don’t provided references easily. For me to recommend a business means that they have exceeded what is expected in the normal course of a business transaction. That being said I can wholeheartedly recommend the Riverview cabins and Driftwood stage as a venue and place to stay whether you are planning a wedding, family reunion or other special event! I cannot say enough amazing things about these cabins and the owners, Tom and Anne. I have stayed a total of 3 times over the past year. We recently had our wedding here. It was absolutely perfect! It is an exceptional venue and the scenery is beautiful. The backdrop of the salmon river made for amazing pictures. My husband and I stayed in Cabin 4 and the remainder of our immediate family and wedding party stayed in the other cabins. Everyone loved and raved about them! They are so comfortable and offer everything you could think of. Anne and Tom are the best people! You couldn't find a nicer couple. Anne has an eye for the details which is so helpful when setting up for a wedding. Tom was even kind enough to take some of my family and friends out on the jet boat. Our family stayed for the Fourth of July and had the most amazing time. We stayed in the main cabin and our extended family stayed in the other cabins. All of them were clean, welcoming and had everything we needed. Every room in the Main Cabin is so cute and put together. The location and amazing views blew us away. We are right by the water and the kids had the best time playing in the sand. We had a family reunion and Anne and Tom went above and beyond with allowing us to use the stage for our family talent show and movie screen for movie night. Our kids and nieces and nephews have made so many fun memories and we are so grateful. I could go on and on about all the extras this property has.
