Sycamore Creek Recreation Area — Attraction in White Bluff

More often then not Sycamore Recreation Area is the place to go. There is fishing from the bank and a boat ramp to launch your boat. Just be aware of the water levels as TWRA drops them sometimes on the weekends to back to water up to Old Hickory. This weekend was bad for launching boats as water had been dropped so far that you had to drive your trailer so far out into the water that it drove off the ramp itself. I love coming down here, it's close to Joelton where I live. We love the boat ramp here, it's not steep, which I only have a jet ski. But the ones with bigger boats come here because they have more ramp, where as on the river like in the campground they say it drops off.
