My husband and I got married at Fiddle Dee in October of 2024 and it was a beautiful day! We have no regrets about choosing our venue and now that we have been married almost 9 months, the things that stood out the most about the venue are what I would like to make my review on. We chose FDF for our venue on our first visit, 14 months before our wedding date and we are so glad we had such a long time to plan. Being able to choose the exact decor we wanted, have time to think on our choices, then make final decisions up to the final weeks was a great advantage! Of all the venues we looked at, FDF had the largest choice of decor options and it was incredibly helpful. October is the busiest season for wedding venues, the weekend of our wedding FDF had four different weddings. You never would’ve known looking at the venue the morning we arrived because it was spotless and ready with our table layout. Most of the decor, except for florals and the few items we brought just needed to be spread throughout the venue. Amber did an amazing job setting up the tables for us and decorating every inch of our wedding perfectly. The only thing I wish would’ve been different was the two assistants Amber was supposed to have that day, as they did not show up. We had a LOT of decor and it was definitely a job for more than one person, so my mom and grandmother helped. In the end of the day I wish they had gotten to spend more time relaxing and having fun in the bridal suite, but it was no one’s fault the two assistants didn’t show up. We used one of the caterers that FDF works with often and there wasn’t a single issue with them getting there on time or setting up, and the food was fantastic! Our bartender Velvet also did a great job and the drinks were strong and flowing! Their in house DJ was also fantastic! My husband and I have been to a lot of weddings where the DJs didn’t play the walkout songs correctly, talked a lot, and didn’t play songs the couple wanted, so we had high expectations. He met them all! He nailed every song choice for the ceremony, the introductions, the first dances, and finally the party. 10/10 for their DJ! The venue was breathtaking for our fall day and our pictures show it! The lighting was amazing, the field for photos was beautiful, and the pergola out back was breathtaking with our floral arrangement! Our florist was a friend and she killed it! The one big thing that disappointed me for the day was the corn maze next door also run by FDF. In the contract it says the corn maze would be shut down during the ceremony but we could hear people talking and kids playing loudly next door. We also had several people throughout the day walk up to the windows on the bridal suite looking inside because they weren’t sure where to go for the corn maze. So my one big con for the day would be wishing the corn maze and anything attached to its business was shut down for the day an hour before the ceremony starts so people have time to leave. Overall, I would recommend FDF to anyone looking to have an amazingly decorated and beautiful wedding! Their recommended vendors did an amazing job and Amber was a great coordinator!

Above and Beyond! My husband and I got married here at the end of April and couldn't have been happier! They answered tons of questions from the moment we booked til the day of! Amber was our day of coordinator and was a DREAM to work with. She went above and beyond to make our day perfect! She is kind, organized, and very patient. Not to mention she has a fantastic personality! She takes the time to listen to even the smallest details. I cannot thank her enough for all she did for us! A beautiful venue and an amazing team to work with! Book FDF and request Amber for an amazing event/wedding!

We used Fiddle Dee as our wedding venue and it was perfect! Our ceremony was outside, but even if it had been inside it would have been stunning! So many of our guests mentioned how beautiful and spacious the entire place was. Our coordinator, Amber, was assigned to us through Fiddle Dee and she was absolutely incredible. Our day went so well because of her!!! Everyone was accommodating and easy to communicate with. Highly highly recommend this venue!

Got married at Fiddle Dee Farms on 9/13/25, came highly recommended by a good friend and cousin! The venue its self is absolutely beautiful! However the staff (besides Lauren) isn’t. Karen the owner is extremely rude and only cares about a dollar not making your big day everything you dreamed of. It started at my month prior visit when they asked for bakery’s license and insurance and then told me it was an issue they didn’t have exactly what they needed, however they recommended this bakery. On to the week of, I hired two of their bartenders for 4 hours thinking I could split up their times exc to get a random invoice for more money with no explanation for a extra 2 hours for one of the bartenders because they don’t disclose they count set up and break down ( a hour for each) as part of the 4 hours. So they told me if I didn’t pay it my bar would close at 7:30 when my wedding started at 5. I paid it then onto my makeup and hair artist needing to get in early to start or atleast set up. An extra $250 for them to get in an hour early, so instead they said I could cancel my rehearsal and have the extra hour the morning of. Amber the event coordinator said she’d be around to let my HMUA in so they could be set up. It was a whole ordeal to get this done. Fast forward to the morning of my wedding. We arrived early as we ubered as we just wanted to be on time for my HMUA timeline. My HMUA saw someone around back bringing in chairs and went and asked if she would let her in the lady said of course and unlocked the doors, this was at 8:47. Once she gets all her stuff in we start bringing all of our belongings in. When I’m greeted FIRST THING ON MY WEDDING DAY by Amber with a “SO YOUR NIGHTS ENDING EARLY”. What a way to set a tone for the bride for arriving 30 minutes early. Onto my wedding I hired the in house DJ who messed up our bride and groom entrance which had us dancing to a song that was not our first dance song. I have text messages with very Explainable notes down to the second of when things were supposed to be played. I chose this venue for elegant beautiful look it brings. I am not one to ever leave reviews. I just felt the need for this one to warn other brides the extra stress and anxiety dealing with FDF employees and owner brought.

Karen, I own a business as well and you don’t just send someone an invoice after they’ve paid in full with no explanation. The greediness you encounter after we spend thousands to have a wedding here is unmatched. I will be posting all emails. We didn’t have encounters until two weeks prior to my wedding.. I have the text of Amber telling me she would let my HMUA in when they arrive at 9 I apologize it was 8:47. I didn’t asked to get let in, even messaged Amber I would wait and the artist asked yet I was approached first thing ON MY WEDDING DAY FROM AMBER WITH” SO YOUR NIGHTS ENDING EARLY” It was mind blowing. I can assure you this will not be the only bad review you get for your venue’s...

Any business can be a good business when things are going well. But the truest way to judge a good business is when times are tough. My husband and I were scheduled to get married at the Barn at Fiddle Dee Farms in September 2020, the year of Covid. Unfortunately, my husbands immediate family resides in California and, at the time time, various work and travel restrictions were going to prohibit them from being able to attend. At the end of the day, we decided that being with our immediate family was the most important thing so we elected to elope in an intimate setting which allowed our closest to celebrate with us. While 2020 was difficult for brides, I acknowledge it was also difficult for businesses. We were all trying to find a way through the madness. I’ve waited 2.5 years to write this review because I hoped the discouragement of dealing with this family would somehow resolve with time but it hasn’t. Two months prior to our wedding date, I reached out to Lauren regarding canceling our contract. I was hoping that we provided a sufficient amount of time for them to rebook and consider offering a refund. After a lot of back and forth and Lauren getting her mom involved, I was met with a lack of empathy or understanding regarding the situation and was told “not everyone is going to make it to (my) wedding.” Her mom shrugged off my concerns about family being unable to attend and didn’t offer any solution. Long story long, Lauren eventually said if they rebooked another couple on the same day that they would offer us a refund. One week out and we were told they hadn’t rebooked and if we signed the cancellation contract now they’d give a partial refund (less than half). Because the odds were slim to rebook, my husband and I decided to sign the papers and take what money we could. Fast forward to our honeymoon and I see on social media that The Barn at Fiddle Dee Farms did end up rebooking another couple on the same day. Now whether they knew this a week out or legitimately found a couple a few days before the wedding, I’ll never know. But when I followed up to see if they’d be willing to refund the remaining amount I was told it was “sad I was still thinking about this on (my) honeymoon.” It’s sad I have continued to think about this for over two years to be honest. It’s all not about the money (although $8,000 would be nice to have in the bank right now) but the attitude I was given throughout the process was incredibly negative. It’s something I can’t shake. Sincere congratulations to the couples who have and will be married at this venue without experiencing any issues. My husband and I...
