I have only gone to the dog park š¶ and rank it on the high end of what I've seen at other places. There is ample parking and handicap parking. However, maneuvering w a wheel chair in/out of the gates would be challenging. They provide bags for waste pick up and have covered trash cans. There r 2 large fenced in areas w 2 gate entry to prevent a dog from getting out. The large dog area has covered pavillions, picnic tables and a hose for water all on a cement slab. Note - the water is winterized. Around the pavilions can be muddy since it's a high traffic area but the rest is grass and a large area for the dogs to run. The small dog area is also fenced, 2 gate entry, has a pinic table, sizable area for the dogs to run & is right next to the large dog area. I don't think it has water on that side. That side doesn't seem to be used as much and could be nice for older dogs that may not be able to get jumped on, etc or maybe a dog that isn't 100% dog friendly or similar situations. So far all the other owners have been friendly and understanding if a dog misbehaves a bit. There have been a variety of dog breeds šš© which is fun to see. It's a pleasure going there, great for socializing (for both u and your dog) and I strongly recommend u check it out and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIts the nicest park by my house for sure. Lots of parking, dog park, lots of trees and large grassy areas. Plenty of restrooms and pavilions. The park is kept very clean. Wild raspberry and wild garlic grow all over. Plenty of critters running around too like large crows, deer, groundhogs, etc. Found a short trail or two, one took me to a hidden picknic bench the overlooked all of white oak. Stoners must use it because there were some blunt wrappers on the ground. Would give it 5 stars if it had a lake or any...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhite Oak Park is a beautiful park. I may be prejudice as i have been a WO resident my whole life and have been there hundreds of times. Its more of a quiet park. Lots of people go here to walk, walk their dogs and ride bicycles. You can rent the pavilions for small or large events and for those who are wondering yes you need to have a license to bring in alcohol. Its a very well maintained park and a park official is always nearby to make sure things are as they should be š so go pack a picnic basket, the kids...
