I've experienced several drive-thru zoos in the U.S and this one is definitely the MOST RUGGED & UP CLOSE TO MANY ANIMALS as you will probably ever see! I encountered nice staff like Michelle at check-in & Russell(?) with the elk antlers. If you follow simple rules, no one gets yelled at (as read in other posts). And if you don't mind hungry animals trying to enter thru your window to make messes with food & dirtying your vehicle inside & out, narrow dirt roads, wooded areas, ponds, uneven terrain, various animals walking up right next to both sides of your car, plus a walking area to birds, mini horses & goats, then THIS IS TRULY A UNIQUE PLACE TO VISIT! Sure, the sides of my car & my arm out the window were a mess early on, but it's a wild animal park! If it were -tame- people would complain about that! So, reading other negative comments, it's obvious some sadly don't appreciate the immense work, time & expense that goes into the upkeep of -4 miles- of roads you travel on & the unknown # of acres of land, supplies, repairs, vet bills, insurance, wagon/cart costs & fuel, salaries, medical care by staff & feeding so many animals every day of each year. The price reflects that. --Website clearly says pp - not entire car. That loss in revenue would keep their doors closed to the public:( --Very few animals or mainly deer? Nonsense! I witnessed many bison (or buffalo) even several albino!, zebras, elk, ostrich, pot-belly pigs, camels, deer, goats, parrots, ducks, geese, peacocks, lizards, antelopes, mini horses, capybara, and one black yak๐!! --Common sense should tell others that there might be long waits on weekends simply because more cars are in front of you & are stopping to feed animals just like you so try to visit weekdays. --Those with dogs should know to -never- mix with wild animals. Why do some still insist on bringing them out of the car when their dog and/or the wildlife are going to react? Let's keep it safe & stress-free for all. So, in the end I now have a couple of minor scratches on the side of my 5-month old car, but I snapped some great photos & made new memories to last a lifetime:) I took a ton of pics but here are only @20... HIGHLY RECOMMEND A VISIT HERE IF YOU'RE...

I thought this place was going to be so much fun for my family and I I have three young kids and a teenager who love drive-through zoo weโve been to plenty the Safari being one however we were great with kindness from the worker at the Counter where you pay in the gift shop. Everything was great. It wasnโt until we got behind the trolley that we were greeted with disrespect. I took several videos. I would Hall recommend the park to hire a completely different trolley driver because this trolley driver bypass several pull offs to where they could pull over because the trolley people are only allowed to go through once so of course they want to go slower than you know the rest, but the cars that are going through are allowed to go through several times, so the trolley is supposed to pull over to allow the cars to go by. He did not and refuse to in fact, but six cars behind us later he decides to have the people in the back of the trolley motion for us to like go down this dirt way and when we did, he started the tractor and started moving and told us he couldnโt stop it to allow us to proceed by after telling us to go bye And if he wasnโt telling us to go by, I donโt know what he was trying to tell us otherwise! But he deliberately would stop and just talk to the trolley riders with no animals around or just one animal that theyโre not even paying attention to and mind you it is very hot in our car unfortunately did not have air conditioner at this time not their problem though, but he could have pulled over to allow all the cars behind him to pass in which he refused to do Something he was supposed to do! Costing us and all the cars behind us any other entries to the zoo! We definitely went here ONE time and ONE time only Iโll never go back here again!!
If you want a good cheap zoo though this is it, we got three buckets of fee for $12. You canโt beat that. They definitely have good pricing. I did tour the gift shop. They are pricey in there, but they do have better pricing than a lot of other places, just watch for those...
ย ย ย Read moreIf you love animals you will love Briarwood.ย When we first pulled up we really weren't sure what to expect but there was a sign to go into the store to purchase tickets. The woman was so nice explained what to do, where to go, who to feed and who not to. There is a drive thru safari as well as a walk thru. The cost for adults was $20.00 p/p, $15.00 p/cย and $4.00 per feeding bucket, 3 for $10. Get a couple of buckets especially if kids are going to feed. Some will try to take your bucket and some succeed( lol!) and there are animals to feed all the way to the end. I was the only one feeding in our car and my bucket ran out 3/4 of the way through. They do offer senior and military discount of $2.00 off ticket. We saw they offer a tractor pull type wagon to go through the safari but I believe you must make reservations for this (call them!) Know if you feed the animals in your car you will get feed in it but it vacuums up easily and so worth the fun you'll have!ย Anyway itย was so much fun. I laughed so much watching the animals approach our car. You knew just by looking at who wasย coming up to your car who was going to make you laugh the hardest when feeding them! The animals are well kept and seem very happy and have plenty of room to roam which is so nice to see (so much better than a zoo!) We are...
