White Pine Splash Pad — Attraction in White Pine

Kidz Country and the splash pad has gone down hill. Every time we go to the splash pad it either kicks off and won't turn back on, not all water items are working, or it just won't even turn on at all. It's too slippery from the mold/mildew on the ground, the women's restroom is always locked up. The men's is usually out of toilet paper, missing a sink, no soap, no way to dry your hands, the floors and shower is filthy, and there are no doors on the stalls. The restrooms at the concessions stand is always filthy, stinks, or are locked. The newer restrooms next to the concessions stand are not very clean or kept up. They have, however, replaced the mulch and padded walkway through Kidz Country, replaced a silde that had been missing for a while, added a bench and a very nice memorial. The pavilion and splash pad both really need pressure washed and the restrooms really need some attention. I understand the park is old, but it is not being kept up like it should be, which is making it go down...

DO NOT waste your money renting this pavilion. If I could give it a zero I would. Splash pads nice. but It's a $25 deposit and a $25 down to rent for 3 hours. We threw our sons 1st Birthday there.worst experience I could have imagined. The whole pavilion was full of people. after kindly asking to move more arrived 2 hours early for a football practice. It wasn't posted on the bullinton that we had rented it. We were down to 1 picnic table for the whole party. Couldn't sign happy birthday due to everyone being there and being loud. Walking through where we were opening gifts. When I brought the issue we had to the lady at city hall who rented it to us she said no refund you could have called dispatch. (We had no knowledge of) Don't waste your money. It ruined our sons birthday and was honestly embarrassing for us...

We visit fairly often; my babies love it! My biggest grouch is the main opening. I love that there's a fence around it, but I wish there were a gate to enclose it completely; it's hard to run after 2 toddlers going in different directions, and not safe when 1 of them always runs out.
